Tonsillectomy

Tonsillectomy is the most common ENT head and neck procedure. The operation is performed as a day case procedure under general anaesthetic. The patients are given appropriate post-operative pain killers to alleviate pain. Tonsillectomy operations are usually performed for patients with chronic recurrent tonsillitis, obstructive sleep apnea and in cases of tonsil cancer.
