Parathyroid Surgery

Parathyroid gland surgery is performed for patients with high calcium levels secondary to overreactive parathyroid gland disease. This is a complex surgery and therefore needs a complex preoperative investigation. We have exceptionally good radiologists to help with localisation of the parathyroid gland prior to surgery. Parathyroid surgery performed as a day case procedure.
